An exact replacement!

Great little scale for the price!

I purchased this to weigh and verify precious metal bullion, and with the additional purchase of calibration weights, I can now accurately verify my coins. The calibration and tare weight functions work well and are easy to figure out. I like the lighted display and the additional trays that come with it. You can't go wrong with this scale....

Small Boombox with BIG sound!

I bought this for playing CD's mostly, so that is what I will review. I have found this to be well worth what I paid for it (under $40) and it works nicely. I haven't needed to refer to the manual, as the controls are intuitive and easy to figure out. On some CD's, the speakers started to distort with fairly high volume levels, but I turned the Mega Bass boost off and that solved the problem. It has plenty of volume to use out in the shop or gardening, and is nice and clear. Next I will need to program in a few of my favorite stations and also try out the cassette! I expect it to be easy to figure out as well. Sony makes a good product. I don't think you will go wrong with this, unless your standards are so high that you expect perfection from such a small unit!!
