Happy accidents
I saw this movie, purely by accident, while channel-surfing years ago. When I found it again here on eBay - while searching for something else - I figured it was a sign. Now I'm glad i own this copy.

The original 1991 version
This is the original 1991 version of "Fruitcakes," not the 2002 revision that is currently available for production (and in which I recently acted). This earlier version is longer, has more characters, more sets and more subplots than the current version - I recommend it most for those who were in the play and are curious to see how it developed from original to rewrite.

"What's Left"? Really?
To me, Spider John is right up there with Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie as an American folk-music legend. If this turns out to be his last album, it's a wonderful final statement.
