Good book, but it could have been much better
I learned a few new things from the book, but I felt it repeated a lot of material that many other golf books have covered. It gives you a method of figuring out your wedge yardages, but Pelz book does just that. It gives you a plan to analyze shot distribution on approach shots and then calculating where to aim based on scoring that seems to group all players into 3. It emphasizes tee shot length, but really does not describe ways to get that extra length, just hit driver over hybrid or 3 wood. I guess my expectations were higher.

Rocket Blaster
Everything about this club is wonderful. The shaft has a nice stable feel and seems to have an extra gear at times. I also get a nice draw with the Project X LZ. The club is easier to hit off the fairway than the deep model, but I miss the deep model off the tee. Did I mention the ball just seems to explode and I definitely get a few more yards out of this. If your driver ever lets you down, this club can easily replace it, it is that long. Bravo Calloway.

Underrated irons from the magazine and website reviewers
I have played a few rounds with the M1 irons and I am pleased with them. The go through the turf really nicely and fit my eye. The distance is consistent and long compared to typical, but not exceptional. I was looking for a forgiving iron with a thinner base than the seemingly large irons out there today and these irons just fit my list of requirements perfectly. I am happy.
