Had one hell of a fun time

Had one hell of a fun time with this unit; what I got was the 'secret' A1A replacement of the original Almond. The original runs on 5V, this (like the 2015 version) runs on 12V and has a USB port. Not knowing this, I bricked the unit by manually loading the firmware from the original Almond; took me days to being it back using an UART and going through the internal serial port. Now I like these sort of puzzles, but my Wife was not greatly impressed that I managed to brick it in the first half hour.
