SRAM GX 11-Speed Shifter AM SL GX GRIP SHIFT 11SPD REAR BLACK

Very accurate shifting even with a long cable run but needs care in fitting.

The SRAM GX grip shift and derailleur combination works very well with my 11-42 cassette even with an exceptionally long cable run (recumbent tandem trike). The twist grip gear control is far easier to use than a trigger shift for a recumbent. You need to be careful when trial fitting the grip as when you move it outward on the bar to re-position it the rotating part easily detaches from the fixed base and is then fiddly to re-assemble. Only move the grip outward on the bar by pushing on the base, not by pulling on the rotating part.

Short winder, works well if it can reach your canopy winding eye.

This is the short version of Fiamma's awning winder which is exactly what I wanted so that it would be easy to store in our van. Don't buy if you have a tall van and you aren't tall enough for it to reach the winding eye.

Flawed, but good enough for my purpose.

The box does what I wanted but the plastic is flimsy and brittle and was damaged on arrival. Its replacement fitted together easily and made up into a reasonably rigid box. It isn't completely waterproof so you can't store stuff you want to keep dry.
