For 2014-2018 Jeep Renegade Adjustable Aluminum Car Roof Rack Cross Bar Carrier

A great product but instructions need some work.

Instructions that came with the unit were not specific enough. 1) When adjusting the length of the cross bar: there are TWO screws on each side. The rubber gasket must be lifted at least a foot to get at them. 2) The cross bar on the ones I ordered for my Jeep Renegade came in two lengths. There was not mention of that in the instructions. I put one on the front and when I went to put the other on the rear I found out that it would not fit. So I reversed the procedure and found that they fit very well. So my suggestion is not to completely install and tighten the units until you are sure you have the correct cross bar in the correct location. 3) The rubber grips on the ends of the cross bar tend to slip off the sheet metal lip. I had to re-position the rubber grips in order for them to fit over the lip. All in all the cross bars are really sturdy and do the job I desired. I am pleased with them.

Electronic Switch

Great little electronic swich. I use it to power up and power down a stepper motor driver board to prevent the stepper motor from heating up during non-use. The only problem I exerienced was when I sent in a question concerning the use of the "Vcc" terminal. I asked for a schematic. I received no response and ultimately decided that the Vcc terminal has no use at all. The unit works fine without connecting the Vcc terminal.
