durable and reliable, to say the least!
1 of 1 found this helpful These are awesome pumps. Mine is hooked up between my storage tank (on the roof) and bladderless pressure tank, which keeps the pump from running continuously. Once, I left my system operational to irrigate some plants while I was away and the pump ran dry for probably days when my tank- which provided water to the pump, leaked empty. When I encountered the situation I turned the pump off and felt the casing; it wasn't too hot to touch and when I ran water through it pumped like it was brand new! A year later, it still works like new, but I bought another for backup, when it finally does expire.
