This model is not an Omni directional
I thing it is a newer version of SM48
It is good when you whistle when placing the mic on one side of your mouth to avoid wind blowing

As a matter of fact,I4s to me is physically well-built
Functionally I5s is best choice for everyday general use even thought not well-built like I4s.
