A Great Season Worth Watching Again
The Doctor at his finest. To me, Capaldi is the ultimate Doctor. In this, his final season, his embodiment of the character has matured to perfection. He is no longer the insecure regeneration of his first few episodes, always asking and worrying as to whether he is a "good man".
The companion for this season is the amazing Bill Potts, played by Pearl Mackie. Potts is unabashedly lesbian, and her lively character is a refreshing break from the quasi-romantic, unattainable love quest that ran through the years of Clara Oswald, Amelia Pond, and Rose Tyler.
Between the fantastic Bill Potts, and the masterful evolution of the Doctor, this stands as my favorite season of the reboot years.

Dreamland: a profound story of the nightmare of Juarez
Charles Bowden's writings on the Southwest and the US - Mexico border are some of the best on the subject.
In Dreamland, Bowden delves into his deep knowledge of the City of Juarez and serves it up in a compellingly told story of the area, made richer with the illustrations of Alice Leora Briggs.
The book is out of print- It's well worth seeking out for any person interested in the human cost of international finance and the War on Drugs.

Hup! Fantastic Paladin!
Predictably fine quality action figure. The likeness to Hup is fantastic, and he came with two spoons! I didn't care about the damaged package as I want action figures of my favorite characters to keep me company on my desk and in other various places around my house- not sitting and collecting dust in the hopes of retaining resale value.
I am so happy with my Hup action figure. I love how posable he is. He makes me happy to look at him, and really, isn't that the point?
