Great lens for a great price!!

We upgraded to this canon Ef 75-300 mm lens and we couldnt be happier. This lens takes nice crisp pictures both at a distance and up close. See attached pics, last was taken at a distance of about 30 feet away. It takes nice pics both in black and white and in color the sharpness is the same. The only downfall of the lens to me is it is heavy but it is a large lens so that is to be expected. I am older so it is hard to hold steady at times however I knew this when buying so it is no fault of the lens or of cannon. It is a great lens for the beginner and yet takes pics nice enough to frame and display in your living room. The first picture below was enlarged and is sitting on my mantel

Felt Historical Costume Bonnet Black

Felt black bonnet

I was a bit skeptical when I bought this hat... I mean what can you get for 8.00 bucks... well I was wrong. This bonnet is very much worth the money if you are looking for a historical theme costume is is just right. It looked great on my daughter and we look forward to using it as a prop for our Gettysburg tour late Oct. This hat is versitle in design as we are going to use it for Salem as a pioneer witch costume, and as a Southern belle in Gettysburg we then are going to use it at Christmas when my daughters sing Christmas Carols to the sick at the nursing homes. It will fill all those jobs and if you get the red one would make a great red hiding hood hat for a halloween costume. The posibilities are endless....
