Test good

I have tried some of the no-name memory and it can be very disappointing. If you are considering the larger memory sizes, be sure to buy the name brands. I purchased 2 of the 2TB memory sticks out of China and both were big fails. Using H2TESTW.exe revealed many critical errors which explains why one would not even hold a format (needed to be formatted every time.) Even a 32GB blue stick was cheap enough, but still would corrupt the data making it useless. Bottom line... you will get what you pay for.

Ebay part number lookup tool caution

This review is actually about the part number lookup. The part itself is fine, but it was not the part I needed. In this case the 1980s ford f series alternators came with an external regulator so the lookup assumes that's what you need. It was not uncommon to replace the alternator with one that had a built in regulator and a wiring harness for the truck to get more power. I also worked on a 1990 f series that had an alternator with a built in regulator from the factory. Using the lookup proved challenging as many of the part numbers turned out to be for the external regulator models. So, bottom line, look for sellers that make good pictures so you can tell what type of alternator they are offering. Sometimes the lookup tool doesn't reference the right part.
