"You've done a man's job, sir!" Blade Runner(1984) This is well worth the cost, especially compared to finding an old 80's 6502 assembly book ( $50 here on ebay) Obviously a labor of love, printed on thick, shiny paper. I couldn't be happier, ready to finish learning to program a microcomputer from my childhood!
A good manual for diagnostics. It does need a separately purchased "Diagnostic Cartridge and Cable Harness" which I am looking at now. The manual is clear in matching with the Programmers Reference Manual Electrical Diagram.
The Little Sailboat by Lois Lenski

Magnificent
This is a magnificent little book and shows a time in history when sailing was simple and casual rather than high pressure racing. This has a surprising amount of nautical terminology snuck in casually, that is ideal for helping children understand!
Commodore 64/128 Assembly language programming 1986

Superb for the "retro" programmer
This book is excellent for learning and using Assembly. for the Commodore 64 for someone returning "retro" after doing Assembly on the PDP-11s in the 1980s.
The book clearly goes through what is otherwise confusing from the C64 manuals....how to bring up and use the Editor, Assemblers, Loaders (2) and Monitors (3). The correct syntax is mostly missing from the Commodore manuals, and this book makes it all exceptionally clear.
I can now link my Basic programs to Assembly routines and understand how to do it!
