Loctite 545 thread sealer
Very hard to find , let alone get an affordable price .
Bought a 10ml bottle to seal connections on air horn/ on board air system on my pick up . Tried pipe dope, teflon tape , loctite blue , Permatex thread seal it ,nothing worked . Pulling fist full of hair out of my head trying to make the system air tight. Compressor, 1 gal primary air tank , 2 gal reserve tank . 44 connections total. Plus two sets of air horns with connecting tubing. It has been 96 continuous hours with pressure holding at 180Psi test pressure No leaks. The system is designed to have a working pressure of 140Psi so a 180 psi test pressure should be enough.
Applied a coating of loctite 545 to threads assembled and let stand over night before turning on the system to 185 psi

Price was fair, shipping speedy
Lighter material then I am use to for industrial machinery that is Stored outside in rain, snow and ice. Will work just fine for me as the generator is stored in an unheated shelter out side ready for back up power. The cover is just to keep dust, dirt and moisture off the generator until needed.a good spraying of a water proofing solution will add to its protective nature of the cover .Time will tell how durable it is . For a stored ,started once a month for maintenance generator this cover is more than adequate

Truck air horns
2012 Cheney Silverado LT 1500 4x4 , Grover duel horns 1600 , 1 gallon primary air tank , 2.5gallon reserve , viair 275C 12volt pump . Switch works great and system looks good
