"Good bottom fishing reel, nice back up for salmon"
Having owned a few of these, I know what they will do and what they won't do. They will, with the right line and rod, bring a big ling cod out of the rocks. They will eventually fail if abused (set hook in free spool, lock reel back in during a run for example). Just take care of the reel and it'll last a long time.

Do not buy here, select a different option.
Batteries are weak, must be old stock. They lose charge quicker that the batteries I was replacing. NO WAY these rate for the amp hours they were sold as. Voltage at rest looks good at 18.83 VDC. No way to measure when in use, but it appears to drop to substandard level when using a simple drill over a 10-15 minute period.
