I like it but...
Does not seem like there is too much to it for the price but I guess like printer companies who make their profit in the ink the SoClean2 makes it residual profit in the cartridges.

Exact Fit
The filters fit my 4000 gal per hour pond 13w uv filter perfectly. The filter was purchased on eBay a few years ago. The uv light quit working so I now use an in line uv light. Works great and expect it to last several more years!

Great Filter With Minor Modification
The Pond Pressure Bio Filter 4000 Gal w/ 13w uv Sterilizer worked great with one modification. The modification was to add a 1 1/2 inch ball valve on the backwash port. This eliminated the need to try to install the included glass plate to keep the backwash port from leaking. Otherwise it was a pain to keep installing the screw on cover with the glass plate and removing it to install the hose adapter to backwash. With the 1 1/2 inch PVC ball valve it is so easy to backwash. I recently made my pond larger and it is now an 1100 gallon pond that contains five 12 inch goldfish. When I filled the pond i used my old filter that was not adequate for the larger pond. The pond turned completely green. The Pond Pressure Bio Filter 4000 cleaned up the algae problem in about 10 days. The pond is now crystal clear. Other than the minor modification recommended above the filter works great!
