Looks digital - use opaque glass
It looks very 'digital' through clear glass. The only way it works in clear is from a large distance.
Have to change the glass in my lamp to opaque if I want to use this globe.
Its obvious from the photographs that it looks digital so I shouldn't be surprised.
The youtube video is slightly deceptive in that the video doesn't pick up the led effect of the globe, rather on video it looks like a real flame because of the way the camera processes the image.
Still happy i purchased it though, paid too much but I had no choice, wanted it!
