Nice gadget, Ebay pricing makes it a good value.
I will be honest, I typically spend a lot of money on gadgets (mostly technology), and this is one of those items that is so darn cool that I had to have it. That said, the retail price is not something I would have paid, especially for an item that may only be used temporarily for a sick kid. Enter E-bay, and refurbished / used resale, I am one happy camper!
Value aside, reviewing the quality of the item, I must say this "Smart" thermometer is an A+ product, with a great design, quality app (iOS/Android), and simple to use. The digital reading is clear on the device, and you can assign the temperature reading to different people in your family. Saving each reading allows you to monitor for short or long periods of time, and the app provides feedback on whether medical attention should be sought or considered. A red light indicator will appear when a temperature is high enough to merit a trip to the doctor's office -- at least that is the threshold I use for my 5 year old. I noticed that there is a higher threshold for fevers registered to kids than adults. Once you hit a fever of about 102 or higher, a red light turns on, indicating that you should monitor closely or visit the local clinic.
For my family, this item has been used routinely in the short time that I have owned the product. My wife has had the flu, the kid is always picking something up in school, I had a stomach virus, and the handy thermometer has been a Godsend. More than anything, it does help provide peace of mind; who wants to rely on the forehead touch test to determine whether a loved one is sick and needs medical attention? Not me, and you shouldn't either. If you are reading this, you probably just want to know if I think the item is a good value and if I would buy it again and/or recommend it.
The answer is yes I would rebuy this product if I had to do it over again; it is absolutely worth the price I paid. (About 1/2 retail) Even if the item is discontinued, the utility of the smart temporal thermometer will last a lifetime. If you can snag it under 60 bucks, you could definitely do much worse than Nokia's awesome and useful Smart Thermometer.

Outstanding TV, Incredible Color & Contrast, OLED Rival
Outstanding deal, great 75 inch Sony TV, I was fully expecting the deal to fall apart or the TV to be a disappointment, but TV was priced right to take on that risk. The TV has outstanding color capabilities, great contrast, and more features than I will ever need to take advantage of. I am a happy camper, and although I was looking for an OLED at a similar price, the only OLED this size came in at 18-20k. No thanks!
Anyway, if you are looking for a great TV that rivals OLEDs in just about every regard, this is it and it shouldn't break the bank. No regrets, glad I went outside of my comfort zone this time around -- well worth the anxiety that this purchase initially created! ;-)
