Logitech M510 Wireless Computer Mouse (batteries included)

    The original type, faithful M510
These work well for their intended purpose. This particular mouse mouse, a Logitech M510 (The original type) replaces the previous M510 I had that developed tracking problems. I like this particular model because they're intuitive, responsive, comfortable, and the older setpoint software works well allowing for some customization.

Toshiba, really nice hardware, poor software. Works okay, but there is a lot of room for improvement.
Among other things this is supposed to create a way to connect a portable HDD to your wireless network. And while it does do that, it does it poorly. It was a struggle to get it to connect with my router. But once connected it was stable. When restarting your network turn on the router first then wait for the router to boot up first, then turn on the Canvio Wireless Adapter, or CWA. Do it in this order or the router won't recognize the CWA. Once it does. I was able to send and receive files to it from every computer on my network. You absolutely have to have at least one Wi-Fi enabled device to talk to the CWA in order to set it up. File transfer time is slooooow, you can't add any kind of executable file to the connected HDD through the CWA, and any file you store or update through the CWA interface will have an incorrect creation and/or modification date. And there is a file size limit if you use a flash drive. If you store a large RTF file over 5 MB in size the file will be corrupted. But unplugging the flash drive and writing to it directly from a computer and it works just fine. You can read a large RTF file but if you modify it in any way then save it while the flash drive is plugged into the CWA then the file will be corrupted. I have no idea if other file types would also be affected, but I would suspect that they would. If you can work within these limits and file transfer speed isn't an issue then you may like it.

Logitech M510 Wireless Laser Mouse Vista, 7, XP NIB

    M510, the original Version.
This is a basic 7 button mouse. It works well and the software footprint is small. This is the earlier version that uses "Set Point".
