It didn't solve the problem.
I had to stop using it. I had more problems getting the speed i needed when the extender was plugged in.

Looks the same but was thicker in size.
The battery was swolen and it was stock in the camera when i installed it. I had to use a sharp knife to extract it from the camera. when i removed it i had to run it over sadpaper to make it fit but still little tight. i dont even know if i can use it yet how do i trust a product that did'nt fit properly to use it my camera. I don't even know yet if its going to charge since i had to modify it to fit.

not what i was expecting
I have problems keeping the batteries to make contact. i went back to use my old one.
