Nice little lens for travel. The lens is plastic but well made and is suitable for its size and weight. 55-200 MM on a crop sensor is equivalent to 80-320 MM on a full frame. Pair this with the lens that came with your camera , either 18-55MM or 15-45 MM, you should have a nice bit of kit.
