Good Wire Nuts
Good quality wire nuts --- used to join 3 strands of #12 wire --- tightened well and securely onto wire ends.

Good Value Alternative
1 of 1 found this helpful If you're buying this you may realize it looks identical (the base) to the StewMac gauge minus the dial indicator. I purchased a digital readout indicator to mate with this and once I figured out I needed to release the spring mechanism inside the indicator so the stylus just floats it worked OK. The issue is string spacing and for the most part it fits but in some instances not. You can always loosen any string that is interfering and move it out of the way. It is a great tool for setting string height at the 1st fret and filing the nut. StewMac charges about 78 dollars plus shipping and tax. This base with a digital indicator cost me about 35 dollars and I believe it is as accurate and performs as well as the StewMac.

Tool Work Light
2 of 2 found this helpful I attached this light to the cast iron head of my drill press. Works great to improve illuminating the work area. I was able to position the light thanks to the goose-neck design in such a way that it is in close proximity to the work but still out of the way. It has a strong magnetic base and a convenient on/off switch which though small is a nice feature.
