Damaged beyond repair
Item was shipped in a bag, rather than a box, and was smashed and broken (rim snapped, cone of hat permanently concave) at some point on its journey to me.

Great for heat transfer vinyl
I was looking for a dry iron for applying heat transfer vinyl to t-shirts. My regular iron wasn't giving me the results I wanted, and I expect this was in part because of the steam holes. This iron is exactly what I needed.
