Exactly as advertised

It is as good as it can be expected for the price. The fit is not as good as earphones with very large cups, but the size is large enough for a decent fit, and small enough to pack it in a small space in your backpack.

Haiti in a good spotlight

Kehinde Wiley is a very talented artist that has created his own niche: portraying african americans in the manner of classical paintings that resemble Goya and Vermeer. His skills in figurative paiting are second only to the conceptualization of his work, in which by the nature of the stance of his subjects he elevates them to a level of majesty that compares well with classical portraiture of european nobility. Wiley went to Haiti as part of a global project in which he visits countries where he convenes locals to pose por him. In Haiti he assembled a wonderful cast of women, in artificial poses that work perfectly. This book documents the paintings of Haitian women in a collection now on display all over the world. A video of this effort can be seen in vimeo by googling the book title. This is a great book, well edited and a joy to read and hold.
