Maverick surface thermometer, great idea for cooking over a fire pit..Hope the guage continues to be readable.
I purchased a maverick surface thermometer to keep track of the temp of my cooking surface that I have over a firepit. It works good. It the time that I've used the thermometer, it seems to indicate the fire to be hotter than it really is, but after getting used to it, I can tell what temperature is a good cooking temp. I noticed the metal case became tarnished after a while and that was ok, but the guage face also started to get hazy as well which makes it harder to see where the temp needle is pointing. I hope the guage remains readable. Time will tell.

experience was excellent
I bought this because of the impending doom when windows XP support went away. I knew if I waited too long it would be hard to find or very expensive. I received the software in just a few days and installed it on my wife's laptop. Very easy to do, but still takes alot of waiting especially since I have to get all the updates for windows 8 before downloading windows 8.1. Never the less it was smooth. I'm getting used to windows 8. So no complaints!!

purchased ruger lcp 7 round factory mag
I was a little apprehensive about the cost of the magazine at first, but I was happy once I received it. I can grip the gun a lot better now and I like having another round available in the magazine. You gotta admit, being able to hold 7+1 rounds in a little (very concealable) gun like that is impressive.
