A good low budget adventure
4 of 4 found this helpful I saw the first one on Amazon Prime and decided to pick up this set to watch the rest. Lord of the Rings it isn't, the special effects are just ok, but I liked the story and enjoyed watching them all.

Easy to mess up
I've repaired quite a few handhelds and other devices and I've done a lot of soldering in my time but this replacement project went badly. Nothing to do with this part the problem was with getting the old one off the board. I ended up tearing the circuit board under the tabs trying to remove it. If you're going to attempt this repair be careful it's very easy to ruin the board.

Works fine
I had bought this because I thought it would solve a problem I'm having with controlling my new Xfinity receiver with an IR Blaster, but it doesn't. But it does work fine sitting on my desk making it easier to point at with my remote.
