Good Speedlight, but batteries sucked
When I first tried out the product, the flashes were inconsistent and there was always a constant whine. As this is my first speedlight I was unsure if I was using it wrong or it was supposed to be that way. After getting frustrated and looking up SB-800 whine, I l finally found a forum that mentioned changing the batteries. Once I replaced the included batteries with some new ones, it worked perfectly. The device itself has a weird navigation but I have it setup the way I plan to use it (remote M and TTL) and setup is quick. I really wish they hadn't included the batteries as it gave me more stress than benefit and just lowered the price.
