Poorly written

This book is very predictable at times. It used too many words to say what could have been said with fewer. The author interjected ridiculous spirit/angel/whatever moments to "save the day" on numerous occasions. When a character was angry, saying "darn it" just did not seem realistic. I get that the author is probably a devout Christian, but it just was written in unrealistic terms, in my opinion.
