A Life Restoring Technology!
Tho not recommended for folks over 55. I bought one for my 70 yo neighbor who lost his foot in October to diabetes. Unlike so many of us senior citizens he was still biking to the store and walking several miles each week up until his surgery. The diabetes has slowed his healing, and the promised prosthetic device can't be fitted yet.
Meanwhile he's been in a wheel chair, trapped in his house by a short flight of stairs, and LOSING MUSCLE MASS. We started working with the iWalk about 2 weeks ago, and today he walked out his back door, down the ramp, and all the way to the street and back. He says he can feel the unused leg muscles getting stronger! When he gets his prosthesis he will be months ahead of where he might have been.
