Swimming Pool Spa Vacuum Cleaner CORDLESS Lithium Ion Handheld Clean Debris New

Not so good

The good: The product vacuums well for about 5 minutes, then the battery died (not so good). The bad: Unfortunately there were 2 significant problems with this pool vacuum. 1st of all, the pole pieces aren't made to the right specs so they don't snap together. You can jam the pieces together after a fashion but that predictably led to the cracking of one of the pieces. Had the unit worked well, I would have overlooked the defective pole. Unfortunately that wasn't the big problem. Having assembled the unit I put it to the test and it worked quite well.....for about 5 minutes. Battery died. OK, maybe I just needed to recharge it. Four hours of recharging gave me six minutes of operation, and a subsequent 5 hour charge yielded the same result. I had great hopes for this purchase. Maybe just got a dud battery but this coupled with the bad pole design didn't inspire me to ask for a replacement. Had no choice but to return the item. Will go back to laborious suction hose method. Too bad!

For a big pool spend the extra for a superior product. Less hassle and more durable.

If you use these and connect them together for a larger pool, you will have to use many gear clamps and correct for leaks at the clamp sites. This product works well at low pressure but I've had two panels blow out (no fixing them). The problem is that you require pretty good pressure to get adequate flow of water into the pool yet at that pressure, blowout is probable because linking them together creates back pressure that affects the first linked panel.
