Revolutionary Night Vision Rifle Scope!
The Vulcan 8X is an OUTSTANDING night vision rifle scope. Its comfortable field of view rivals that of most field glasses. Its optical clarity leaves little to be desired, particularly since, when it is augmented by the included infrared illuminator, what is in darkness appears as if it is in a spotlight. It’s like watching a black and green movie of the night’s activities. Objects can be clearly and brightly seen from 5 yards away (with the use of the parallax adjustment) to well over 500 yards away.
When the optional doubler is added to the infrared illuminator, not only are close-up scenes more clearly seen, but seeing identifiable images at 1000 yards is possible on a moonless night.
The design of this scope is extremely well thought-out and executed....all the way down to the words on the objective lens cap that say, “DO NOT REMOVE IN DAYLIGHT” (the ½” diameter hole in the middle of the cap allows in all the light that is needed for daylight “sighting in” to be done) and the automatic bright light cut-off switch. All the controls are easy to use and function beautifully. The variable brightness controls for both the picture and the reticle, as well as the infrared illuminator, allow for a wide range of adjustment to different lighting situations.
Though the Vulcan 8X can be used as a daylight scope, if need be (by leaving the lens cap on and turning the “Gain” control all the way up), the quick-attach mechanism makes switching to a regular daylight scope an extremely easy thing to do.
The scope uses very little in the way of battery power. It also accepts either CR123A Lithium or AA batteries. The infrared illuminator uses an included rechargeable battery that lasts quite a while, as well.
Though this scope does not have any of the “bells and whistles” that some digital night vision scopes have, its optical clarity, field of view, range, 8x magnification (wonderful) and low battery usage (no bulky battery packs) make it a common sense choice for anyone who really just needs to see “what’s out there in the dark”.
In dark conditions, the muzzle flash will cause the scope to “white out” momentarily. I was told by Armasight customer service that this is normal and can also be caused by a loose battery compartment cap.
Speaking of customer service, Armasight is tops in my book. They have been more than helpful to me as I have gone through the process of “settling in” to this scope and what it is capable of.
I highly recommend this “tool” to anyone who needs sharp eyes in the dark, whether it is mounted on a rifle, or not.

Great finish!
It is a "quick dry" product, so spraying this at cooler temperatures will help to insure a smoother finish.
Be sure to put enough on flat surfaces that it will flow slightly.
The finish is wonderful!

Game changer!
This is a truly outstanding nail gun. As described, it fits into tight areas and has plenty of power at the maximum air pressure it was designed for.
The Paslode nail collation technique allows for a loaded nail capacity of roughly two thirds that of nail guns with magazine lengths that are twice the size of this one.
It is really a pleasure to use.
