Catholic’s 12 steps program for addictions

If you are Catholic and you or a loved one is going through the 12 steps, it’s a great way to apply your teachings of the faith in a more specific way. 12 steps is generally higher power type of learning. Catholic 12 steps is specifically relying of God and his teachings. You can apply baptism through the other sacraments in a very easy, specific way to relate the 12 steps. A relative has been through the steps but I can see this book helping because one’s faith is a great blessing to use in difficut times. I would recommend it for the addict and those who are helping and love them. Worth reading. It can apply to drugs and alcohol and any addiction.

Great Catholic children’s Bible.

I wasn’t sure if it was a Catholic version. That’s what I wanted. It is. It includes the apocrypha. It’s for children but not dumbed down. The stories are the same stories of the Bible that children can understand. I think teens would like it also. Large print is really nice too. Beautiful pictures that tell the story. I’m very happy with them. I bought three as gifts.
