1968-1982 C3 Corvette: How to Restore, Service & Repair Manual Book Guide SA248
    Nov 08, 2019
    Generic
A very generic manual, which covers knowledge, that if you don't already have a basic understanding of, you're not going to get from this book. It also "ball parks" a few model year specifics. I was not able to work on my 71, because the manual used a 75 for the jobs that I wanted to perform, and the procedure wasnt the same.

    Garbage Knock Off
It doesn't fit the OEM hood, well, at all. Looks terrible. There are big gaps all around it and it's simply not usable for a restoration. It would require a dozen hours of bodywork and paint, to have this resemble the OEM part. I am a body man, and this was a massive waste.

    Pretty good...
This is definitely well built, but over priced for what it is. Yes most of it is aluminum, but there's still a lot of steel on it, which adds to the weight and maintenance. Instructions are horrible, so unless you're one of those figure it out types, you might get a bit frustrated. The side has quick release pins, but they're far from quick release. I've been a fabricator/ engineer for over 30 years, and have been using this type of hardware for ages... these are the hardest to remove that I've ever seen... my girlfriend can't get them open at all. I ordered the front wheel kit as well, and same issue... over priced, but more importantly, they make the unit cockeyed. The wheels elevate the front much higher than the back, so your pet or kid will be constantly sliding backward. I really don't understand the design at all... and again, having spent my life designing this stuff, it definitely did not have to be this way or cost this much. I want to order the larger back wheels, but they're so over priced as well... I'll pass.
