The title is accurate
1 of 2 found this helpful I purchased the book in order to find out more about the needs, maintenance, health and how to make my new mixed breed Labrador bond well with me. The book is well illustrated and designed for the owner of a pure-bred dog. I was informed about diseases and maladies that the Labrador is prone to. There is a lot of information concerning the use of the Labrador in hunting, but this had no interest with me. I was more interested in learing how to keep the dog happy and a good companion who obeyed. At least with my dog I find she needs a lot of structure to keep her from being bored. The guide spoke about using a professional trainer, but I was looking for more specific information in helping me train the dog and this was not provided. Perhaps more comprehensive information and fewer photos would have been more useful. This is an interesting guide that provides breed specific information on the Labrador, but wasn't as informative as I had hoped it would be.
