Disappointed
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought this book by recommendation of my vet. I like her so far, but not this book. Here's why:
This book has a copyright of 2006. It's behind in some ways.
It does not encourage or discuss eating organic, non-GMO, gluten free, sugar free, corn free, dairy free or avoiding foods with heavy metal toxicity, etc.
It does not encourage one to take into account that foods have pesticides, toxins and other issues. Those words are not in the index.
It discusses inflammation and why certain foods are inflammatory to some degree but not much. Most of the book is geared towards helping you choose foods based on their charts with ratings according to inflammation. All you have to do is go by their ratings and keep it in the range they discuss is best and not think about gluten, and all the other things I mentioned that I feel are important. I disagree with that due to all the research I have done and other experts share with so many of us now. This book is behind the times.

Great planner
I spent a great deal of time deciding on a planner. I went to the bookstore and looked through several, comparing various things that I thought to be best for me. I almost used it... But, It's empty because I decided not to marry the guy. Wrong guy... I'm happy to still be single for now.
Great planner. I'll keep it a while longer. :) I might need it one day! :)

Excellent guide for dog owners
All dog owners need this. Prevention is best. But about 30% of dogs end up with some type of cancer.
I agree with the majority of this book. I'm not a fan of giving grains, especially oatmeal because it is now known to have glyphosate in it, even the organic oats, which is Roundup, which ruins the gut bacteria and balance this causing immune disruption.
He gives so much great info. I'll definitely combine this with other things I'm doing and will add to my dog's treatment. I'm sticking with all natural treatment.
