Different animal than the Champion 20
8 of 18 found this helpful Honestly, I purchased this amp because I have the smaller version. I love the sound of the little one so I figured I'd buy the larger version.
No dice. I just doesn't sound the same.
I'm sure many people will love it but I was fixed on the great sound and richness of the overdrive of the little one.
It is a rather expensive paper weight right now.
If you're thinking about buying because you loved the Champion 20 sound don't just buy it; go to a music store near you and try it first. IT IS NOT THE SAME SOUND.
