Powerful and versatile.
3 of 3 found this helpful I finally purchased this vac to work as a wet vac and to act as a dust extractor for my other 18v tools.
I use it far more than I imagined in only a few weeks. Emptying toilet Systens, emptying radiator drain trays, drilling clean up, masonry with SDS and metal at pillar drill. All around the workshop in fact.
Henry and my go to air vacuum haven't moved since Makita arrived. Same bat charge.
I ordered the wet filter as I want to keep the HEPA one for dust extraction.
The tool storage and retractable hose are just great.
Removal of the tank is fast.
When wet vacuuming the cut off valve works well before the tank is full, about half, so you can easy carry and empty with a dry floor and boots.
Extremely light, so easy to go to for those quick jobs. I haven't used the blow function as I have shop air, but I can think of uses on the road or at home.
I wish I had brought this last year at the lower price.

Good quality gun for under £100
2 of 2 found this helpful I was presently surprised at the build quality of this Devilbiss primer gun. Clear anodised Aluminium body, chrome plated light weight brass air cap, stainless fluid tip and needle. It is very similar to my GTi's, just lacking in some areas ascetic perfection or selection of air caps. The fittings are slightly different with US threads (my gun was built in Brazil), but it has an adaptor for the cup giving the same female thread as the GTi, so you can use same cups and pps adaptors. Atomiser well with a wide fan and lays down primer filler fast and flat at low pressure. Gun cleans up well with minimum gun wash (pps). Yes there are lots of cheaper guns out there, but this one will last many years with service parts available.

My short set has lasted over 20 years and is used on a daily basis. New long set has new type instinct handles and provide for more reach.
