Quality has dropped
The sifter lid is a waste of time and allows dust to flow out of the tumbler into the air. I have an older Lyman 1200 that finally quit, and I much prefer the bowl and lid on it. I don't use the sifter on this unit. I use a homemade separator instead. Lyman has always stood for quality with me, but this unit seems to be very "lightweight" compared to the older unit (at least 35 years old). The older bowl and lid are much heavier and feel sturdier. The older tumbler motor has frozen up and there is no way to work on it or to just replace the motor. Makes it necessary to purchase a whole new tumbler which is the same setup - no way to repair. And it doesn't seem to be as good of quality as the old one.

Faster changeover
Purchased this as an addition to my router, I was having trouble changing the collets on the router with the setup that came with it. This makes it easier to change - just remove one and screw on the other.
