Good quality and lower price than "name" glass.

A fine filter that works well
This is not my first Pur filter; the previous one lasted 13 years. It doesn't come with Pur's best filter, but the included one is adequate. It does come with the steel adapter, which is good, since the plastic faucet adapters tend to wear and cause the filter assembly to fall off the faucet. Filtration is excellent, especially with the blue filters.

Nice Ni-MH rechargeable batteries
Very good Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. With the proper charger, these will charge to 1.45 - 1.5 V. They work well in electronic devices and small lights. As good as, or better than, the "copper tops" or the "bunny batteries."
