Walt Disney Tarzan DVD(2000) 2-Disc Set Collector's Edition LIKE NEW PERFECT

"Tarzan, Collector's" edition is truly the "King" of the jungle.

Love this 2 disc edition of one of my favorite movies PERIOD. A ridiculous amount of extras that are wonderful. I esp love the drawings & sketches & seeing the raw materials on the character of Tarzan come together. To see how they made the character from the book into a character that is even MORE wondrous & beautiful ( as a man, and a child of apes ) in the movie version. The movie itself is magnificent. The expressions & body language if Tarzan are mesmerizing. To see the transition from infant to child to young man is uplifting & breathtaking. Watching two species trying to communicate with each other & the difficulties that go along with it. But they can ultimately understand one another because of the things they have in common that go beyond language. It is a great movie ( like Dumbo or Lady & the Tramp) for anyone who ever felt he or she did not fit in. It is also a nice metaphor for what I like to call the God spark.( I think it is also no coincidence that Phil calls his song "Son of Man." ) If God created everything, then a piece of Him is IN everything. So maybe the Little piece of God in Tarzan & in the creatures & the wild itself allow that they are all able to communicate with one another, to live with one another, struggle, learn & need & love one another, and know that we are all family. A film not to be missed, and this is my favorite version with the multitude of extras.ENJOY over and over again. !! Best regards!

Essential? Absolutely!

All the great songs I had on cassette tape on a mix on a single cd. Nice mix of genres and not a bad song in the bunch. Something for everyone I promise. Wish it were LONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Presto 02811 12-Cup Coffee Maker - Silver

BEST coffee EVER!

I have been using Presto percolators for years. It was what we had when I was growing up. Of course, over the years, I went to electric drip coffee makers, and I used them for a good while. But for some reason I just decided to go back to "perking" and My Presto has been with me for almost 20 years. It is easy to clean , looks elegant, and makes the best coffee ever. "perking" is the way to go.The Presto has an indicator light but you really don't need it because when it stops perking it is done. I usually get unbleached filters, poke a hole in the middle with scissors, and line the Presto coffee filter with it. Just makes cleaning it a cinch. Rinse pat and parts every now and again with vinegar or run vinegar and water through it like a regular cycle. The coffee doesn't sit on a plate and burn lilke a drip style, and it stays warm until you drink all of the pot. Also, If it SHOULD begin to "slow start," you might be tempted to think it is getting ready to die. BUT, before you replace it, try a new cord. Trust me on this one. And yes, the lid is supposed to fit TIGHTLY! ( Imagine if you ever accidentally knocked it over...) My last Presto made it 16 years of steady every day 12 cuppers. I am so in love with Presto, You will be too. Best regards...
