Quality Pats Gear
I gave these as a Christmas present. They're good quality items. The gloves are thick and fit large hands, and the hat and scarf are well made. The scarf is over 5 feet long.

Try This One Before You Give Up on Safety Razors
This is the first safety razor I've used that wasn't too abrasive on my face. Its weight is just right, and the blades aren't too aggressive. Great bang for the buck.

A good overview of some important ancient battles.
6 of 6 found this helpful The unique thing about his production is its use of video game technology to recreate many of the great battles that shaped the ancient world, from Egypt, through Persia and Greece, and later the growing Roman empire. The computer animation can be a little clunky at times, and many of the ancient armies depicted, particularly the Germanic tribes and Attila's Huns, didn't wear identical uniforms. On the other hand, seeing massed legions or phalanxes, consisting of tens of thousands, and stretching across miles of computerized landscape is impressive. The explanations and narration are well done, and provide a good visual introduction to military history. The episode about the Battle of Thermopylae, for example, cleared up quite a few of the goofy myths promulgated by the movie "300," and made clear the fact that the Greeks' superior armor and use of the phalanx was a deciding factor in their early defeats of the attacking Persian formations. Overall, I strongly recommend this presentation, especially for young students just beginning their study of ancient military history.
