A good solid lens
3 of 3 found this helpful I have used this lens for just a handful of pictures so far. I'm having to get used to manual focussing again so I find the focussing ring a little unnatural to use as it is at the front of the lens. I would prefer it to be near the camera body.
The zoom ring was a little stiff at first but it seems to be getting looser the more I use it.
The images i have taken were both outdoor and indoor and I am pleased with the results given that I am using an entry level DSLR with a basic zoom lens.
Overall, the lens is good value for money and if it wasn't for the slightly stiff zoom ring and position of the focus ring, I would have given it 5 stars.
