cool monitor
Instead of looking for a new wide-screen monitor for my computer (that might could be tricked into being a TV through the computer), I purchased this HDTV which was already set up to be used as a computer monitor. It was a piece of cake to set up and the results are absolutely awesome. I get excellent graphics, large text when needed, and it fits well on my desk. For someone who spends more than 12 hours a day in front of a computer, this is the only way to fly.

bigger is better
it replaced a smaller one that was broken. First thing I cooked was a pot roast that was perfect. being larger seemed to let the vegetable juices and the meat juices blend much better.

an excellent GPS for the money
I've had an earlier model of Garmin GPS for years, but it ended up with my ex-wife. I purchased this for 10% of what I paid for my first unit, and I was able to upload current maps and transfer all my saved sites with ease.
