Flat Performance = Amazing.
3 of 3 found this helpful Usually when one says a product delivers a flat performance, the comment is less-than-flattering. In this case, it's just the opposite! This microphone has a sufficiently wide, flat response from 20Hz - 20kHz for tuning systems, or using as omnidirectional recording or live microphones. With the flat frequency response, these mics sound great in pairs recording symphonies and concerts, or reproducing critical high frequencies from drum overheads or percussion. In addition, the color-less sound can be tweaked for almost any application that a cardioid pattern (or narrower) is not needed. In a well-treated studio environment, this could be an exceptional vocal mic.
Get it. The possibilities beyond system tuning are astounding. Your ears, and wallet, will like this robust, lightweight mic.
