The best Blake Edwards movie ever!
I adore this film and can quote large sections of it. Blake & Julie had to move to their home in Switzerland after it's release because they described Hollywood TOO accurately.
A little thing you might enjoy - when Felix and Sally were fighting about 15-20 min into the film, she grabs something off the mantel and throws it at Felix who ducks. It turns out that was her Oscar for Mary Poppins.

Don't you want her as your Nanny, even if you're all grown up???
I saw it first run in theaters and have loved it ever since. I haven't watched the extras included on this 40th anniversary edition, but they really are just extra. I'll love them and watch them all, but the important thing is the original film. I also love Mary Poppins Returns.

Watch this film!
Lovely film about a young boy learning about life in a cinema in Sicily. It begins in WWII and comes up to the present day. It may seem a little slow at the beginning, but you soon realize that you are so fascinated by the boy, the village and the cinema that you have to watch the film to the end.
