Introductory book of a soft porn/romance trilogy.
I bought this out of curiosity, & must admit I was somewhat disappointed. The mystery/adventure parts were well written, but the sex scenes became much of a muchness after a while & I took to skipping over them to return to the heart of the story. The 2 sequels have the same boring sex scenes, but the rest of the plot is well written, with a very nice O. Henry-esque ending.
I must admit I can't really compare this to other romance novels, as that genre' generally bores me to tears. I'm a dedicated SF-adventure-fantasy reader of the likes of R. Heinlein, I. Asimov, R. Zelazny, C. Cussler & P. Anthony.

Perlite
I use it in conjuction with clumping kitty litter on the cat box. Perlite is relatively common in Europe as cat box filler. I use it in a ratio of 4:1 with clay being the majority. The perlite helps to dry out the clumps & droppings more quickly. It also helps to cut down on the smell without added scents/perfumes.
