Hawk Weird-ohs Davey
This is another great little re-issue model from the Hawk model company (now owned by J. Lloyd International) from 2006. The model is produced in China from the original Hawk molds (some of the models still have Hawk 1963 [or 4 or 5] embossed on the underside). These models are relatively easy to build for beginners and have enough detail for seasoned modelers. Painting them is the most fun as color schemes are left entirely to the modeler so you can go as crazy colorful as you wish. The only down side is that, for whatever reason, the original decals were apparently not recreated for this kit so it comes without decals.

Aurora Old Timers
Aurora 's series of Old Timers, 6 turn of the last century automobiles including this Rambler by Nash, are extremely well manufactured and can provide the serious modeler with a fairly easy to assemble model and a very challenging paint job. These models are pretty good sized and look exactly like the photo in the box art. I am currently building my 2nd set of 6.

White Stallion Pegasus
This reissue of the Aurora classic White Stallion of the Plains is a great little model that's easy to build, as long as you're careful and patient, and easily lends itself to modification. This is probably the 5th or 6th time I've built this horse and the third time I've turned it into Pegasus with the help of some She-Ra horse wings.
