fun, great music
Fun to play and get combos, you can go back to previous chapters to get higher scores (with all of your new/upgraded gear) and builds music into fights (and is the best way to deal damage)

Fun, High replay, some bugs
Training monsters you really feel connected and involved, that you are responsible when they perform well/poorly. The game has no real end and could be played indefinitely, and I (a causal player) haven't ever been able to beat the highest level tournaments. There are some game braking bugs but so long as you look up strategy guides before going to Brillia or Goat (which have quests for legendary monsters Zhan and Joker, respectively) then you should be good. One of the best parts is that you can use and random CDs and DVDs you have around the house to get a new monster through a disc swapping feature.
