The Thing 1982 is the best!
Classic Carpenter movie and far better than that terrible 2011 prequel. The story is chilling and the creatures look fantastic for 1982. I highly recommend getting the steelbook edition just for the much superior 4K transfer!

Halloween has never looked better!
This is probably the best release of Halloween so far, a new 4K scan along with the previous scan on disc 3. You also get the extended cut along with the tv version as well so you're getting everything in one package. A lot of special features are there as well, highly recommended.

A definitive release of this forgotten film
1 of 1 found this helpful The new 4K transfer of Creature looks amazing, very little print damage, and sounds like you're in a theater. This movie has come a long way from all the horrid VHS rips slapped on a DVD releases that plagued your local Kmarts, Walmarts. and dollar stores over the decades, this actually had a lot of care put into it. The public domain releases were nothing more than cheap bootlegs of the film, Vinegar Syndrome actually went back to the original negative prints and made a completely new 4K scan. This is no public domain crap; this is a very high-quality blu ray release of Creature that has finally come out. It does contain The Titan Find version as well, it was sourced from a vault print so it's not going to look as good as the Creature cut but it's still a very good 2K scan of the film regardless. They did the best they could with what they could acquire for the longer cut of the movie. I highly recommend getting this release of Creature '85.
