  Seller went completely out of his way to get a copy of my petrol cap and seat key cut. Alas he could not get cut a copy of the ignition key as it was a generic Chinese copy. For his troubles, the Seller received an EBay 'strike' for late delivery (which I am trying to get overturned by EBay Customer Services) for something that was not his fault.

  Hi, I state how it is with aftermarket ignition switches and locks, yes they are a lot cheaper than OEM and may be the only items available after OEM items become discontinued. There are certainly no locksmith key codes available and in some cases replacement key blanks leaving replacements of lock assemblies as the only available option. It is very much a case of buyer beware.
