Good phone with great camera
Nice phone, lightweight, responsive. Very good camera, which is why I bought this model, takes great photographs. No Google spyware either, and I can install apps from other sources, so no problems there. It is a bit slippery as is, and needs a case so it does not slide about when putting it down somewhere.

Great Freeview box with hard disk recording
7 of 7 found this helpful I have owned one of these since 2005 and it has not let me down at all. It has an onscreen TV guide that lasts 7 days, and you can select a program to record by pressing OK on the program highlighted. You can also manually enter times and dates for recording programs if you do not see it in the guide.
I found it fairly easy to set up and it is easy to use. It has a good remote control and audio outputs include optical 5.1 surround sound. It also has some simple built in games which are fun to play if bored for a few minutes.
The only downsides are: 1. volume control on remote does not do anything (it might work with the right TV though), 2. cannot export recordings to a PC, 3. the 20 hours space soon fills up.
If you record something on this it is easy to play back and you can also output via SCART to a DVD recorder if you want to keep something longer and free up space on the hard disk.
And one of the best features of this is being able to pause live TV, rewind it, and if "time-shifting" like this, then fast forward through boring bits.
I would recommend one of these to you if you are looking for a great Freeview box. I expect they will be quite cheap now second hand, as they are no longer being made. Mine has lasted very well, and if you find one in good condition it will probably have plenty of life left in it yet.

Good phone to put GrapheneOS onto
Phone works well, and was fairly straightforward to upgrade the OS to the latest GrapheneOS, thus removing all Google spyware.
